Dhokra art is a tribal art form which has survived in its pristine form for thousands of years. Each piece is handmade, unique and a labour of love. The preparatory wax work is done with meticulous skill from wires of bees - wax. It is then covered with a thick layer of clay keeping a hole on top. Molten metal is then poured into the mould replacing the wax layer. Once the cast is removed ornamental finishing touches are applied.
